Drought: government asks modifications from the European Commission
Hungary’s agriculture ministry has asked the European Commission to lift pasture mowing restrictions because of the drought in the country.
Lifting the restrictions, imposed on the countries participating in the EU’s agri-environmental programme, could ease a feed shortage, Agriculture Minister István Nagy said in a statement issued by the ministry on Monday.
